Hi all,
this days I was talking with Chris Dutz about how to improve maven build. One of the things that we can do is release the *flex-dk-converter-maven-extension*, so we can simplify the maven instruction by removing "-s settings-template.xml" part for Apache Flex and Apache Royale That code was done some years ago and seems very stable since we didn't need to change a line, so seems a good idea to release it. I'll want to volunteer to release it, of course with Chris help. Let me know what you think -- Carlos Rovira http://about.me/carlosrovira |
I started to searching maven for understanding the blazeds and spring-boot,
and I found myself learning spring. It would be great because all other things i found about flex mavenizer and this stuff was outdated and repos not working. It would be great a detail step by step guide for blazeds and the sampleamf application and is working with the remoteamf royale appiction and also how can be integrated with jetty or tomcat or standalone to be deployable. Thank you Στις Τρί, 12 Νοε 2019 στις 1:16 μ.μ., ο/η Carlos Rovira < [hidden email]> έγραψε: > Hi all, > > this days I was talking with Chris Dutz about how to improve maven build. > One of the things that we can do is release the > *flex-dk-converter-maven-extension*, so we can simplify the maven > instruction by removing "-s settings-template.xml" part for Apache Flex and > Apache Royale > > That code was done some years ago and seems very stable since we didn't > need to change a line, so seems a good idea to release it. > > I'll want to volunteer to release it, of course with Chris help. > > Let me know what you think > > -- > Carlos Rovira > http://about.me/carlosrovira > |
Hi Antonis,
please can you post about that in Apache Royale list with a topic about your request. This thread is about releasing a concrete part of Apache Flex and not about BlazeDS and AMF. Hi Justin,
maybe I'm not doing in the right way. If you can help me with the proper way to do it I would appreciate it. Since this is not a flex-sdk release, we just want to release that piece of code. Let me know what's the best way to proceed. The code seems to be enough tested, since we didn't change it since years ago. Hi,

Hi Justin,
people need to check this extension. <extension> <groupId>org.apache.flex.utilities.converter</groupId> <artifactId>flex-sdk-converter-maven-extension</artifactId> <version>1.0.0-SNAPSHOT</version> </extension> We're using it in Apache Royale, so a good place to check it is building Apache Royale with Maven: Thanks Carlos El jue., 14 nov. 2019 a las 13:38, Justin Mclean (<[hidden email]>) escribió: > Hi, > > > Since this is not a flex-sdk release, we just want to release that piece > of code. > > In that case you need something to check (a release candidate) for people > to vote on, otherwise it’s not a release. > > Thanks, > Justin -- Carlos Rovira http://about.me/carlosrovira |

Carlos,
Release policy documented here: http://www.apache.org/legal/release-policy.html Releases are signed artifacts, not just a repo and a tag. Christofer Dutz is still making commits to the repo. He's done a Flex release before. He should be able to help you or just do it himself. The KEYS file is used by others to verify your signature.
The Maven gpg-plugin expects your private key to be registered somewhere on your computer. Check the documentation for the gpg-plugin. There may also be some other configuration you need to do on Windows if you are using PowerShell.
