Hi Imad,

What's the version of your SDK ? Could you raise jira with those examples ?

Thanks, Piotr

Re: [LAST CALL] Apache Flex SDK 4.16.1

ImadEddine
Hi Piotr Zarzycki

Sorry for the bad English

Flex SDK 4.16 AIR 27.0

I don't know how to work with jira

I have others example (I think that's not a problems or bug)

1.
<s:ComboBox id="myTI" width="120" height="{TextInputSizeEnum.Normal}"
borderColor="#1F1F1F" chromeColor="#1F1F1F" symbolColor="#FFFFFF"
color="#1F1F1F" contentBackgroundAlpha="1" contentBackgroundColor="#FFFFFF"
creationComplete="{myTI.textInput.editable = false ;
myTI.textInput.setStyle('skinClass', flatspark.skins.TextInputSkin);
myTI.selectedIndex=0}">
<s:dataProvider>
 <fx:String>Item 01</fx:String>
 <fx:String>Item 02</fx:String>
</s:dataProvider>
</s:ComboBox>

--> try this example ... the label not in the middle (before focus in)

2. When I login in My AIR Application

If the mouse on the textArea (TextField or TextArea The Cursor must change )
and apply this event (login)
the cursor Remains in its state ... you should move over an other text area
to return to default Cursor

Hi,

I’ve not had a chance to look at this in full but a quick inspection shows that License is missing this MIT licensed file (copyright Dave Gandy). [1]

Thanks,

Hi Justin,

Is it not enough if that file has header with those license information ?
We need to have separate file ?

Hi,

It’s enough to satisfy the MIT license conditions but not quite enough for ASF policy. [1] Adding it to LICENSE also make it clear to any users that their’s MIT licensed software included without them looking for it / accidentally coming across it.

Thanks,
Justin

Re: [LAST CALL] Apache Flex SDK 4.16.1

I updated and ran the approval script.  It found some tests without
headers.  I added headers and kicked off a new nightly build.  Looks like
it takes a couple of hours to build on my slow Azure VM.  Other than that
and the license thing Justin found, I think it is ok to release.

I was started to prepare RC1 for SDK. I run build ant -f build.xml release
on Windows 10 and it's stuck completely on target PackageMXP.[1] Anyone
experience something like that ?

Target look like that [2]. I was waiting about 40 min and nothing happened.

Re: [LAST CALL] Apache Flex SDK 4.16.1

Alex Harui-2
Sounds like you are having trouble with Exec on Windows.  Wasn't the
signing executable also hanging for the installer signing?  What version
of Ant are you using?  Run some simple ant scripts that launch other apps.
I saw on Apache Ant forums that some version of Ant did have hanging
issues.

Re: [LAST CALL] Apache Flex SDK 4.16.1

Hi Alex,

It was probably separate problem than I have with releasecandidate.xml
where Ant is hang on exe file. First I upgraded my ant to the newest
version, but it didn't help. Next I have tried to launch Adobe Extension
Manager 5 just by double clicking - simple launch of application - it
appears among the processes, but actually didn't launch. I've downloaded v.
5.5 - same results. Finally Adobe Extension Manager CS6 - did worked for me
and compilation moved forward.

I was able to create first RC [1] for SDK and add it to installer, but I'm
getting error trying to download RC1 [2]. I'm finishing for today - if you
have seen something any tip would be helpful. I was using RC1 Installer.

Re: [LAST CALL] Apache Flex SDK 4.16.1

Alex Harui-2
Hi Piotr,

Sounds like the installer code is having trouble with HTTP/HTTPS.  I saw
this old thread:
http://apache-flex-development.2333347.n4.nabble.com/New-installer-failures
-td48356.html

See the posts from Nick.  Are you using a Proxy?

Regarding the releasecandidate.xml issue, was the exe that hung gpg.exe or
something else?  When running from Ant, it could be that if the Ant script
doesn't pass the right parameters because of how the Ant variables are
setup, that it would try to prompt your for something which might cause
Ant to appear hung.

HTH,
-Alex

Re: [LAST CALL] Apache Flex SDK 4.16.1

piotrz
Hi Alex,

I was able to figure out this one and it looks like SDK RC1 is waiting for
announce. It is hanging on gpg, but I think fix for that could be just copy
part for signing from build to releasecandidate and it should work.
Something is wrong when I'm trying to launch it from different file.

Thanks for your help.
Piotr

Re: [LAST CALL] Apache Flex SDK 4.16.1

Alex Harui-2
OK.  The supposed advantage of having a script for the release is that it
will remember all of the steps in the right order and all of the details,
so there aren't as many mistakes, such as adding the wrong filename to the
installer-config-4.0.xml and things like that.

My 2 cents,
-Alex
